Laurie Yoon represents individuals and businesses in complex civil litigation in state and federal courts throughout California. Her practice focuses on the defense of claims related to general liability, automobile liability, premises liability, and personal injury, as well as employment and labor law disputes. Laurie is a versatile and effective advocate, drawing on extensive experience handling all stages of litigation – from pre-litigation counseling and law and motion practice to mediation, arbitration, and trial. She has successfully defended a broad range of clients, including major national companies, small business owners, and property owners.
Prior to joining Wilson Elser, Laurie worked at multiple boutique firms where she gained valuable experience handling plaintiff-side matters, as well as an AV-rated AmLaw 500 firm. Laurie’s experience in plaintiff-side representation enables her to anticipate plaintiffs’ arguments and areas of potential liability and damages, bringing valuable insight to crafting effective defense strategies.
