People: Lynsie Gaddis Rust, Wendy D. Testa, Susan Abbott Schwartz and Jane E. Young

Partners Lynsie Gaddis Rust (Louisville, KY), Susan Schwartz (Dallas, TX), Wendy Testa (Philadelphia, PA) and Jane Young (Denver, CO) are faculty members at the CLM Claims College to be held September 4–7, 2024, in Austin, Texas. Each has committed to multiple course presentations and will work with students to prepare for the exams they will take to earn their certifications.

Lynsie is a member of the faculty for the School of Transportation, Level One. Her presentations will address “The Resolution of a Commercial Motor Vehicle Lawsuit Prior to Trial” and “The Trial of a Commercial Motor Vehicle Claim.”  

Susan is a member of the faculty for the School of Professional Lines, Level Three. Susan’s presentations will address “Advanced Coverage Issues and When Independent Counsel Are Required,” and “How to Work with Independent Counsel and the Insured’s Choice Of Counsel.” 

Wendy is a member of the faculty for the School of Construction, Level One. Her course presentations are “Construction Contracts for Claims Professionals” and “A Survey of ‘Other” Insurance Forms.”

Jane is a member of the faculty for the School of Construction, Levels Two and Three. Jane’s presentations will address “The Applicable Trigger and Allocation of Coverage for Construction Defect Claims” and “Other Insurance: A Deep Dive into How Subcontractor Default, Builders Risk, Wrap and Professional Liability Policies Could Interact in a Construction Defect Claim.”
