Maryn Sommerfeldt represents individuals and businesses in all aspects of civil litigation. Her practice focuses on the defense of complex claims involving catastrophic loss, trucking accidents, premises liability, product liability, and various general liability matters. Additionally, Maryn has successfully defended against claims involving significant personal injury.

Maryn adeptly manages cases from the pre-suit stage through trial. She believes that strong interpersonal relationships are the cornerstone of effective representation and prides herself on understanding the complexities in each matter, as well as each client’s priorities, to deliver thoughtful, thorough, and strategic counsel.

During law school, Maryn was a summer intern at a national litigation firm, where she honed her legal research and writing skills. She was actively engaged in the law school’s academic and legal communities, serving as president of the Student Bar Association, among other leadership roles. Maryn also represented clients in the Domestic Violence Clinic, where she secured protective orders for victims of gender-based violence and gained valuable courtroom experience she puts to good use in her expanding trial practice.
