Mathew Ross (Partner-White Plains, NY) and Kathryn Grace (Partner-McLean, VA) presented a Wilson Elser Institute webinar, “Evidentiary Foundations & Objections – Skillfully Using the Federal Rules of Evidence at Trial,” on March 22, 2023. National Trial Team (NTT) co-chair Mat Ross, joined by NTT regional coordinator Kathryn Grace, led the program. Panelists offered their first-hand accounts of evidentiary problems encountered by counsel during pre-trial, trial and post-trial stages of litigation and addressed ways to skillfully approach Relevance (Rules 401 & 402), Unfair Prejudice (Rule 403), Hearsay (Rules 801-806), and Best Evidence (Rule 1002). This program is open to all firm attorneys and paralegals.
