Maxell Ginsberg represents individuals and businesses in a broad range of general and complex liability matters in New York State courts. His practice focuses on defending claims involving premises liability, construction liability, and transportation-related disputes. Known for his strategic approach, Maxwell effectively assesses risk and evaluates liability in crafting litigation strategies tailored to each client's needs. He has substantial experience handling all phases of discovery, including conducting and defending depositions, as well as drafting affirmative and responsive motions.
Prior to joining Wilson Elser, Maxwell was an Assistant District Attorney in the Queens County District Attorney’s Office, where he served as lead counsel in multiple violent felony trials and prosecuted various felony cases from the initial investigation stage through discovery, motion practice, trial, and sentencing. In addition, Maxwell handled investigations, arraignments, grand jury presentations, plea negotiations, and suppression hearings, as well as preparing medical, forensic, and technology-based experts for trial testimony.
