Wendy Testa (Partner-Philadelphia, PA) and Michael Lowry (Partner-Las Vegas, NV) will present “A Comparative Analysis of Judicial War Zones and Punitive Damages,” a Wilson Elser Forum webinar, on February 20, 2024. They will begin with a review of the goals and applications of punitive damages, and cover claims handling in “Judicial War Zones,” where judges systematically apply laws and court procedures in an unfair and unbalanced manner, generally against defendants in civil lawsuits. Wendy and Michael also will include considerations for adjusters and a comparative analysis of punitive damages in selected states.
