Otis Felder (Partner- Los Angeles | San Francisco | San Diego, CA) will speak on “Fundamentals in Seeking Appointment of Special Master in Executing Search Warrants in Cyberspace” at the Los Angeles Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force quarterly meeting on September 14, 2021. Otis has worked previously with ICAC in executing search warrants against suspects being investigated and will explain to law enforcement personnel covering five counties in Southern California the procedure in the appointment of a Special Master, particularly relating to cyber searches and preservation of evidence. Otis has been listed as an approved volunteer by the California State Bar for more than 16 years, and has been court-appointed as a Special Master in the execution of search warrants.
