Time to Lift the Yoke of Saffer

In a recent op-ed piece published in the New Jersey Law Journal, Kurt Krauss (Partner-New Jersey) encourages the New Jersey legal community to support the passage of Assembly Bill 2553, which would require that professional malpractice suits be brought within two years and that the fee shifting provisions of Saffer v. Willoughby which was judicially legislated, be abolished by the legislation. In the piece, Messrs. and Krauss address the numerous inequities of current case law as a result of Saffer.
