Gallagher & Co., an international insurance brokerage and risk management services firm, to write “The Measles Are Back: How to Inoculate Against Business Interruption and Other Epidemic Claims Risks” for the March 2015 issue of Claims Management. An important distinction between the measles and other outbreaks is the threat of lawsuits by individuals. The anti-vaccination movement and the opposition to it injects politically charged issues involving public safety and personal rights into claims that may be brought as a result of the outbreak. From a claims perspective, the issue becomes determining which policies may be triggered by these claims
