Wilson Elser to Co-Sponsor Pro Bono Event with the Westchester Women’s Bar Association at Pace Law School


In celebration of National Pro Bono Week, Wilson Elser is co-sponsoring an event ”Enhance Your Career in More Ways Than One,” with the Westchester Women’s Bar Association (WWBA), Pace Law School and the Legal Services of the Hudson Valley.

The event, which promotes pro bono and volunteerism, will take place on Monday, October 15, 2012 at Pace Law School - 78 North Broadway, White Plains, NY – from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. There is no charge to attend this event. Everyone is welcome.

The event will feature information about nonprofits and community organizations in the New York metropolitan area, and provide opportunities for attorneys and law school students to offer their services pro bono. A presentation with guest panelists    New York State Senator Andrea Stewart-Cousins and Alicia Kestin, executive director of the Volunteer Center of the United Way will follow the expo.

This event is being presented by the WWBA’s Pro Bono and Alternative Legal Careers Committees in collaboration with its Diversity, Networking and New Lawyers Committees.
