Hattar Named to the National Diversity Forum Subcommittee for the Council on Litigation Management

Jacqueline Hattar (Of Counsel-White Plains) have been named to the Council on Litigation Management’s National Diversity Forum Subcommittee. The subcommittee assists in organizing the National Diversity Forum that will be held on December 8, 2011 in New York City. The Diversity Forum will feature guest speakers from the insurance industry and corporate executives.

The CLM is the largest fully inclusive defense organization, comprised of thousands of insurance companies, corporations, corporate counsel, risk and litigation managers, insurance and claims professional, outside counsel and third-party service providers. Through education and collaboration, its goals are to promote and further the highest standards of litigation management in pursuit of client defense.

Ms. Hattar is an experienced litigator, who focuses her practice in the areas of general tort liability, premises liability, labor law/construction accidents and automobile litigation. She has represented clients in multimillion-dollar lawsuits in both state and federal courts in New York. In addition to the Diversity Committee, she is a member of the CLM’s Premises Liability and Transportation Committees and serves on Wilson Elser’s Diversity Committee. Ms. Hattar is presently a member of the Ninth Judicial District Committee (New York State) to Promote Gender Fairness in the Courts. She is also the Co-chair of the Diversity Committee for the Westchester Women’s Bar Association (Westchester County, New York).
