Jackie Hattar Re-Elected Director to the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York

Jacqueline Hattar (Partner-White Plains) has been re-elected to a third-term to the board of directors of the Women’s Bar Association of the state of New York (WBASNY), which is the parent organization of the Westchester Women’s Bar Association (WWBA) and has more than 4,000 members statewide.  The largest of the 18 chapters of WBASNY, WWBA has more than 650 active members.

Jackie was inducted as a state director at the WWBA’s Annual Dinner held on June 11, 2014 at the Mamaroneck Beach & Yacht Club in Mamaroneck, New York. Jackie currently co-chairs the WWBA’s Litigation and Diversity committees, and is also a member of its Community Outreach Committee.  For the past several years, Jackie has been instrumental in the WWBA’s support of and participation in the Read Across America and Law Day programs at Public School 23 in Yonkers. 

The WBASNY’s chapters work together to address specific legal and legislative issues affecting individuals throughout the state of New York. The mission of WBASNY is to promote the advancement of the status of women in society and of women in the legal profession; to promote the fair and equal administration of justice; and to act as a unified voice for its members with respect to issues of statewide, national and international significance to women generally and to women attorneys in particular.
