Jerry Ruderman Inducted as President of the Westchester County Bar Association

On Thursday May 17, before several hundred colleagues from both the judiciary and the bar, Jerry Ruderman (Of Counsel-White Plains) was introduced and sworn in to his new position as president of the Westchester County Bar Association by Chief Judge of the New York Court of Appeals Jonathan Lippman. Over the past six years, Jerry has held numerous positions with the Westchester County Bar Association, including serving on the board of directors, as vice president and as president-elect. In that time, he also served on the foundation’s board of directors. He is also chairman of the Westchester County Human Rights Commission and was recently appointed to the 13-member pro bono advisory committee.

An active community leader, Jerry has held numerous positions, including serving on the Grievance Committee for the Ninth Judicial District and the Judicial Screening Committee for the Appellate Division, Second Department. He also sat on the board of trustees of Cornell University, a position he holds in perpetuity as an emeritus. Jerry earned the well-deserved honor of Man of the Year – Lawyer and Professional Group presented by the United Jewish Appeal (UJA).
