Jackie Hattar Appointed to New York State Office of Court Administration’s Advisory Committee on Civil Practice

Jacqueline Hattar Partner-White PlainsJacqueline Hattar (Partner-White Plains) has been appointed to serve as a member of the New York State Office of Court Administration’s Advisory Committee on Civil Practice. The Advisory Committee is a standing committee of the New York State Unified Court System’s Chief Administrative Judge, A. Gail Prudenti. Comprising approximately 37 members statewide, including distinguished judges, attorneys and law professors, the Committee issues annual reports containing legislative proposals to amend the New York State Civil Practice Law and Rules and Judiciary Law. In addition, the Committee addresses other civil practice statutes and legal issues involving practices and procedures in New York’s civil courts of superior jurisdiction. In appointing Jackie to this prestigious position, Judge Prudenti cited Jackie’s impressive “background and extensive experience in this area.”
