Karlovich and Quinn Prevail in Motion to Compel Arbitration on Appeal

Susan Karlovich (Partner-New Jersey) and Thomas Quinn (Partner-New Jersey) argued that the insurance coverage lawsuit filed by a New Jersey sanitation company against a captive risk assurance company should be decided in arbitration and not in litigation. The U.S. District Court disagreed, but the Third Circuit Court of Appeals reversed, effectively granting the captive risk assurance company’s motion to compel arbitration.
