Scott and McDaniel Obtain Summary Judgment on Toxic Mold Case

Bob Scott (Of Counsel-Baltimore) and Matt McDaniel (Associate-Baltimore) received summary judgment on behalf of their client Standard Energy Solutions, a residential/commercial insulation company, in the Circuit Court for Baltimore County in a property damage mold case. The plaintiff contended that our clients improperly installed insulation in her home, resulting in over-insulation and a reduction in air circulation that caused moisture to be trapped and mold to develop throughout her house, including on her personal property. The plaintiff claimed property damages in excess of $200,000.
