Farmer (Partner-White Plains, NY) presented as one of the speakers for the “Information & Compliance: Legal Issues For Galleries” webinar as part of the Center for Art Law CLE program on April 28, 2022. Jana covered consumer privacy laws and regulations and best practices and web accessibility standards and claims as they pertain to the art market. Co-presenter Lawrence Shaw of AAAtraq offered practical guidance to attendees on improving their website’s web accessibility and minimizing litigation risks. Irina Tarsis, Esq. of the Center for Art Law presented on the issues of using third-party content on websites and the necessary rights clearances.
