Mat Ross (Partner-White Plains, NY) and Gene Boulé (Partner-New York, NY) will kick off Wilson Elser’s new monthly Virtual Litigation series with “Alternative Dispute Resolution During a Pandemic and Beyond: Resolving Claims in a Socially Distant Environment” on January 21, 2021, 1:00‒2:00 p.m. ET. Topics include an assessment of the backlog in the courts, the uptick in mediation since mid-March, and the advantages of pursuing resolutions from the perspectives of the defendant/insurer and the plaintiff/plaintiffs’ attorney. Mat and Gene also will address myths to avoid and BATNA (Best Alternative to a Negotiated Agreement).
