Daniel BraudeWilson Elser Partner to Teach e-Discovery Class during the Fall 2015 Semester

WHITE PLAINS, NY (July 7, 2015) – National law firm Wilson Elser is pleased to announce that Pace University School of Law has appointed Daniel Braude, a partner in the firm’s New York Metro offices, as an adjunct professor to teach its e-discovery course scheduled for the fall 2015 semester.

Braude, co-chair of the firm’s national e-Discovery practice, will teach a class titled, “Electronic Discovery,” designed to provide students with the wide range of litigation skills needed to navigate today’s discovery-centric legal environment.

The course will encompass lectures by Braude and an opportunity for students to gain practical experience by engaging in mock exercises such as Rule 26 meet-and-confer conferences, interviews of information technology personnel and document custodians, depositions of corporate representatives and oral arguments on discovery disputes.  In addition, the course will feature guest lecturers on topics such as e-Discovery vendor tools, computer forensics, and corporate in-house discovery perspectives.

Braude’s practice focuses on complex litigation involving product liability and commercial disputes, with an emphasis on related e-discovery and document preservation issues. Focused on the information lifecycle, Braude addresses the challenges associated with changing technology, cloud computing, and related data privacy and information security issues.

Braude graduated cum laude with a J.D. degree from Seton Hall University School of Law and earned his B.S. degree from Lehigh University.  He is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US).
