On October 29, 2018, Peter Lauricella (Partner-Albany) and Chris Priore (Associate-Albany) presented on the topic of “Drafting and Negotiating Effective Wine Industry Contracts” for the National Business Institute’s “Winery and Vineyard Law” seminar held in Newburg, New York. During their presentation, Peter and Chris explained to both industry and non-industry professionals the “ins and outs” of putting together Grape Purchase, Custom Crush, Wine Distributor and Wine Club Agreements. Peter and Chris also addressed best practices for handling disputes that may arise regarding these agreements. Chris and Peter have increasingly been retained by hospitality clients to represent them in liquor licensing proceedings as well as develop their contacts with suppliers.
