John Loringer (Partner-Milwaukee) will be joined by Legalign Global colleague Patrick Hill of DAC Beachcroft for a presentation on “Living the GDPR” at the Association of Corporate Counsel Annual Conference, held May 16-17, 2019, in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. A year after the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into force, John, Patricia and Patrick will provide practical advice for in-house counsel concerned with compliance and unexpected consequences. Their presentation will include a discussion of GDPR issues related to data request responses, contract remediation, embedding policies and the impact of Brexit. The experienced panel also will share recommendations based on GDPR fines and penalties issued to date and explore current cyber breach trends.
