Daniel Tranen (Partner- Edwardsville | Missouri) will join a panel on “3D-Printed Medical Devices & Disruption of Product Liability Law and Regulation” at the CLM Annual Conference to be held March 18−20, 2020, in Grapevine, Texas. Already a billion-dollar industry, 3D-printed medical devices are growing at a rate of 20 percent per year. While the technology enables almost anyone to "print" and then use medical devices (point of service manufacturing), the FDA has offered no guidance for the point of service manufacturing and use of medical devices. Daniel and his fellow speakers will address this emerging technology and how it will change the medical device industry and forecast product liability law and FDA regulation of these products.
