Jonathan Meer (Partner-New York) is the program chair and speaker at the New York City Bar Association’s “Insurers’ and Insureds’ Perspectives on Current Issues in D&O Liability 2020,” to be held May 8, 2020, in New York City and available via live webcast. Jonathan will lead the panel on “Corporate/D&O Liability for Cyber Risks Including Regulatory Compliance,” which will address specifically class actions against D&Os in connection with data breaches, a current review of cyber regulations impacting D&O responsibility, regulatory compliance with data maintenance and breaches, and unique issues presented by biometric data and cryptocurrency. Other panels include “A Primer on D&O Liability Exposures and Insurance Coverage,” “An Update on U.S. Securities Litigation and Coverage Considerations,” and “Corporate/D&O Liability for Sexual Harassment/Bad Actors in the Workplace.”
