Nicholas R. Caiazzo (Partner-New York) will lead a webinar featuring Peter A. Lauricella (Partner-Albany) sponsored by Wilson Elser’s Italy practice team in conjunction with the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce on May 1, 2020. “Un-PAUSE Your Business: In the Context of New York’s PAUSE Order, You Might Be More Essential than You Think” will focus on explaining New York’s executive PAUSE Order, and which businesses are deemed “essential.” The presentation also will discuss the exceptions and subsequent clarifications that were made to the Order, and the waiver process to obtain exceptions for a business. Further, Nick and Peter will discuss the steps a business can take and should consider taking to prepare for likely future modifications of the PAUSE Order. Finally, they will comment on any impacts or opportunities that international businesses may have under the Order.
