Beata Shapiro (Partner-Boston, MA) is co-chairing the Transportation Lawyers Association’s 55th Transportation Law Institute on November 18, 2022, in Boston, Massachusetts. With a theme of Massachusetts authors and literature, the program will cover aspects of cybersecurity in the transportation and logistics arena, the emerging role of technology in defending casualty claims, a comparison of approaches to federal transportation safety regulation by various agencies, an update on international trade, maintaining an inclusive workplace, and how to best plan and prepare for world events that disrupt the global supply chain. Each panel will provide legal and industry perspectives on the topics covered. Wilson Elser partners Angela Russell and Tom Tobin will participate in two of the panel discussions.
