Generally Speaking, It’s Better to be in Good Health: An Overview of Medical Malpractice

Frances Malfa (Partner-New York) will participate in a CLE entitled, “Generally Speaking, It’s Better to be in Good Health: An Overview of Medical Malpractice,” at the Brooklyn Bar Association on October 14, 2014. The event is presented by the Brooklyn Women’s Bar Association, in conjunction with the New York State Judicial Institute.

Fran, representing the defense bar, will share the dais with Hon. Marsha Steinhardt and Eleni Coffinas, a plaintiffs’ attorney, for a presentation that will explore medical malpractice from three vantage points – the bench, the defense bar and the plaintiffs’ bar. The speakers will give an overview of medical malpractice issues prevalent today, as well as touch on issues that specifically impact women. Attendees can earn a maximum of two CLE credits.
