Using the Ted-talk model, Wilson Elser, in conjunction with the National Human Resources Association, Los Angeles Chapter, will host a program on December 9, 2014, from 8:00 a.m. - 12 p.m., at the Westin Bonaventure in Downtown Los Angeles. Moderated by Dean Rocco (Partner-Los Angeles),  the summit will be comprised of 15- to 20- minute segments, each covering a different area of employment law. Presenters will explain new laws and provide constructive, pragmatic comments about why they are important and how they impact business, as well as how to comply with the new laws and avoid liability.

Some of the subjects covered will include:
General Employment Litigation/Developments in Discrimination, Retaliation & Harassment Law; Disability, Leave & Health Management; Wage & Hour Law/Compliance; Employee Benefits/ERISA; Traditional Labor; Affirmative Action & OFCCP Compliance; Workplace Safety & Health/Workers Compensation; Collective Actions & Arbitration Agreements; Trade Secrets, Non-Competes & Unfair Competition; and Privacy & Data Security, among others.

Breakfast will be served. Attendees can earn MCLE and HRCI credit.
