Stephen Brown (Partner-Hartford) presented “Cybersecurity 101” to members of the Connecticut Chapter of CLM as a networking event. Information security and privacy compliance is no longer the exclusive domain of IT departments. As frequently reported in the news over the past year, cyber risks are enterprise-wide and can cost companies millions of dollars. Steve stresses that any company that relies on technology to operate or that collects, stores, shares or uses data must be prepared to face these threats head-on to successfully navigate a cyber-event.
