Marisa Trasatti (Partner-Baltimore) will moderate “AI and Implicit Bias,” a panel at the FDCC Corporate Counsel Symposium to be held September 22−24, 2019, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The panel will alert in-house counsel to the pitfalls of artificial intelligence, look at how algorithmic bias leads to exclusionary experiences and practices, and discuss issues of machine bias and algorithmic dysfunctions and how to detect and/or protect oneself. The panel consists of heavy hitters in the AI community: Erin Hahn (Johns Hopkins), Lily Hu (Harvard) and James Lee (LegalMation).
