Las Vegas partners Sheri Thome and Mark Severino presented “Artificial Intelligence and Professional Responsibility” at the Lawyer-Pilots Bar Association Spring Meeting held in Henderson, Nevada, March 13–17, 2024. Mark and Sheri discussed how AI is being developed for law firms and the ethical concerns associated with its use in legal research, drafting contracts and practice support, along with the need to protect confidentiality, ensure adequate supervision and comply with the Rules of Professional Conduct.
