René Pickett is an experienced litigator and trial counsel who has handled cases throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island. As a trial attorney, she has focused her practice on trucking and transportation litigation, product liability, premises liability, and general liability. She is recognized for her exceptional oral advocacy and strategic approach to litigation disputes and trial strategy.

With experience handling all aspects of litigation case management, from inception through trial, René provides clients with strategic insight and effective advocacy at every stage.

Before joining Wilson Elser, René practiced at another national law firm, where she specialized in defending product liability and toxic tort claims as both regional and national coordinating counsel. In addition, she served as regional counsel for one of the largest grocery retailers and e-commerce companies in the United States.

After law school, René served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Michael A. Silverstein on the Business Calendar of the Rhode Island Superior Court.

She volunteers with the Bay State Breakers Girls Hockey program.
