Robyn Williams represents businesses and individuals in all aspects of civil litigation. Before joining Wilson Elser, she practiced for 27 years at a boutique Nashville firm, where she focused on defending claims involving civil rights, employment law, general liability, personal injury, premises liability, and automobile liability. She has represented public officials and judges and conducted legal training at the Tennessee New Sheriff School.
Robyn has litigated matters in state and federal courts throughout Middle Tennessee, successfully obtaining numerous dismissals through dispositive motion practice.

Civil Rights & Employment Defense
Robyn defends public entities, public officials, and private employers in matters involving Section 1983 civil rights claims, the Tennessee Governmental Tort Liability Act (TGTLA), and administrative proceedings before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the former Tennessee Human Rights Commission (THRC). Her employment defense practice encompasses discrimination, harassment, retaliation, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) claims, and related disputes.
