Scott Miller focuses his practice on defending personal injury claims, including matters involving general liability and automobile liability. He represents businesses and individuals through all stages of civil litigation, from pre-suit investigation and case evaluation through discovery, depositions, motion practice, court hearings, mediation, arbitration, expert discovery, and trial.
Before joining Wilson Elser, Scott practiced for eight years at a national law firm, where he handled general liability, motor vehicle accident, personal injury, and first-party property matters. Prior to that, he served in the Hillsborough County Public Defender’s Office.
Scott has obtained favorable rulings through motion practice and achieved successful outcomes in mediation, arbitration, and trial. He believes effective litigation begins with strong client communication and applies the insights gained throughout his career to develop practical solutions for his clients.
