Sean Anderson has more than 27 years of diverse litigation experience. During this time, Sean has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in mass tort litigation in Nevada and Washington. This experience includes plaintiff-side representation of clients in Fen-Phen litigation as well as the Firestorm litigation in Eastern Washington. In Nevada, Sean has represented aviation defendants in catastrophic helicopter accidents and other aviation-related torts. In addition, Sean has experience defending clients in product liability claims ranging from medical device claims to mesothelioma cases.
In 2003, Sean began to develop a real-property litigation practice that has grown during the ensuing years, ultimately focusing on the representation of Nevada common-interest communities and commercial associations. Sean has since represented common-interest communities (HOAs), commercial associations, community property managers, and management companies in all aspects of litigation.
Sean also has extensive experience representing common-interest communities in all aspects of administrative law and alternative dispute resolution in Nevada, including extensive experience before the Nevada Real Estate Division (arbitration, mediation, and referee actions), the Commission for Common-Interest Communities and Condominium Hotels, HUD, EEOC, DETR, and NERC. Although Sean’s practice focuses on litigation, he provides general corporate counsel services for many Nevada common-interest communities and commercial associations as well.
In addition, Sean has continued to represent clients in diverse commercial litigation. He has extensive experience litigating cases before all courts in the state of Nevada, from small claims up to the Supreme Court of Nevada. Sean has equally extensive experience in the United States District Court for the District of Nevada as well as before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
