Our transactional real estate group handles a vast array of related matters, including acquisitions and dispositions. Whether our client is a seller or a purchaser in a sale/acquisition transaction of commercial/industrial properties, office buildings, retail facilities or residential properties, we have the experience, reputation and skills to guide them efficiently through the process.

We have particularly deep experience in leasing transactions. Our attorneys assist both landlords and tenants with the drafting and review of short and long-term leases related to warehouse and industrial facilities; office and commercial properties; and malls and retail establishments.

Wilson Elser attorneys also advise on various mortgage loan and building and construction loan transactions. When lending institutions or borrowers require guidance and assistance with mortgage loan or construction loan transactions, we have the experience to guide them smoothly through the lending process to closing. We advise our clients on loan workouts and restructuring transactions. When loans go bad and become embroiled in litigation or bankruptcy, we assist in negotiating and drafting the loan workout and restructuring documentation in cases where the dispute is settled.
