Seth Kornfeld focuses his practice on the defense of hospitals, doctors, and other health care professionals in complex medical malpractice actions. Seth’s strong work ethic and deep understanding of the nuances in medical malpractice litigation enable him to help clients navigate through all phases of a case from inception through resolution. Seth effectively handles all aspects of discovery, including depositions and court conferences. He often works with retained experts to prepare motions and trial reports analyzing the standard of care and causation. Seth also conducts thorough medical and legal research to facilitate favorable outcomes for clients.
During law school, Seth authored an article published in a prominent legal journal. In addition, he was the Vice President of the Veterans Legal Assistance Program, where he spearheaded efforts to obtain pro-bono legal services for hundreds of military veterans and their families across New York State.
