In addition, Shasta has successfully defended employers in charges of discrimination filed with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).

Shasta regularly provides proactive guidance to employers pertaining to issues surrounding disciplinary actions and layoffs. In addition, Shasta has significant expertise in conducting internal investigations surrounding allegations of discrimination, harassment and retaliation due to her prior employment with a Fortune 9 pharmaceutical company.

Insurance & Reinsurance Defense
Shasta has handled claims litigation for a large national insurance carrier. Her practice includes representing carriers and insureds. While doing so, Shasta has obtained sizable settlements for plaintiffs and “no-negligence” and “zero” verdicts for defendants.
