Suzanne M. Ganier

Suzanne Ganier has more than 30 years of experience as an attorney and expert in legal operations and insurance law. She has tried more than 20 automobile and common carrier liability cases to verdict in the Circuit Court of Cook County, achieving a 90 percent success rate, with no verdict exceeding the final settlement offer. Her experience also includes product liability, construction defect, insurance coverage, first-party insurance claims, and insurance bad-faith matters. In addition, she has arbitrated more than 100 matters as both an attorney and arbitrator and has mediated hundreds of matters to successful resolution.

Suzanne has held significant litigation management, legal operations, and in-house leadership roles with multiple large national insurance carriers. In those positions, she oversaw all corporate and claim-related litigation, successfully guiding the resolution of thousands of lawsuits arising from catastrophic weather events and class actions with alleged exposure exceeding $1 billion. She also served as corporate counsel for a super-regional insurance carrier, advising senior leadership and the board of directors on legal, insurance, contractual, and governance matters while overseeing all corporate litigation and contract management. Suzanne has also provided consulting and expert services focusing on insurance coverage and bad faith to clients nationwide.

On the business side, Suzanne has held leadership roles in multiple legal consulting organizations, including building successful new business lines from the ground up, developing legal spend-management programs, designing training and operational processes, implementing client solutions, and leveraging performance metrics and data analytics to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
