Syeda Ali represents businesses and individuals in all aspects of civil litigation. Her practice focuses on the defense of claims related to general liability matters, including premises liability, personal injury, transportation, construction and commercial disputes.

Before joining Wilson Elser, Syeda worked at a mid-sized regional firm where she defended hospitals, universities and construction industry clients against various general liability claims involving personal injury and property damage. She effectively represented architects, engineers and other design professionals in professional liability litigation.

During law school, Syeda gained diverse legal experience at various internships. She was a judicial intern for the Honorable Douglas H. Hurd in the New Jersey Superior Court, Civil Division, a legal intern in the New Jersey Superior Court, Criminal Division, and a special intern in the human trafficking division at the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General. Syeda gained valuable experience in immigration law as an intern at a New Jersey firm and assisted in civil litigation matters at a Delaware practice.
