Timothy Travers represents established businesses and individuals in all aspects of civil litigation. His practice focuses on the defense of claims related to general liability, automobile liability, premises liability, personal injury and business litigation.
Prior to joining Wilson Elser, Timothy practiced in the areas of government defense, professional liability defense, workers’ compensation and business litigation. He represented public entities across Los Angeles County and has skillfully defended numerous health care facilities and professionals in medical and dental malpractice claims.
In addition, Timothy has helped to defended some of Southern California's top universities and colleges with regard to their esteemed athletics programs. Defending against claims by current and former student athletes who raise issues of NCAA CARA compliance, claiming their personal injury resulted from the sports violation of any number of strict NCAA guidelines including but not limited to violations of the 2019 NCAA guideline banning physical activity from being used as a form of punishment.
