Urva Ahmed is a member of a team that defends virtually every type of premises liability and personal liability claim on behalf of some of the world’s largest insurance carriers and scores of organizations. Ever mindful of the increasing economic pressures on businesses, Urva places the highest premium on resolving claims quickly and efficiently.
Prior to joining Wilson Elser, Urva acquired a diverse legal background, including Creditor Litigation in Collections and Foreclosure, Immigration, Residential Mortgage Closings and Workers’ Compensation law. She began her legal career as a bank Attorney for a firm in White Plains where she worked on residential mortgage closings from pre-closing until the post-closing stages. Urva later joined an immigration law firm and worked as a managing attorney in Queens, New York, after which she joined a mid-size law firm in New York City as a collections and foreclosure attorney focusing her practice on creditor litigation.
