Aaron Shaw concentrates his practice on the defense of claims related to intellectual property and technology matters, life sciences and health care.

Prior to joining Wilson Elser, Aaron worked in medical research at the University of California, San Francisco. He gained valuable experience as an industry contracts officer, navigating relevant health laws and handling business transactions involving FDA regulation compliance and licensing. In addition to his law degree, Aaron holds an M.S. degree in cellular and molecular biology. His background allows for analyzing the science at the center of his cases to convert complex principles into persuasive legal arguments and defenses.

During law school, Aaron honed his research skills as a legal extern for the California First District Court of Appeal. In addition, his participation in the Internet and Intellectual Property Justice Clinic provided a strong background in trademark, patent and copyright law.
