Adam Le Berthon is a trial lawyer with more than 30 years of experience in complex and multiparty business, professional liability and entertainment litigation. He has extensive experience defending attorneys, accountants, and insurance brokers in professional negligence actions. Adam also has handled numerous product liability and mass tort actions filed against pharmaceutical and consumer products companies, and he has represented numerous companies and individuals involved in environmental litigation. In addition, Adam has experience structuring and negotiating the settlement of individual and large groups of related cases.

Adam’s work has provided him with a broad range of experience in many different courts, handling both individual and class action cases. He regularly works with local counsel in other states and has appeared in state and federal court in numerous jurisdictions. He has appeared before the federal Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation, in MDL cases in federal courts and in coordinated proceedings in state courts. Adam has been selected to serve as lead counsel and liaison counsel in a federal MDL proceeding, and has appeared in bankruptcy court in the Central and Southern districts of California.

Adam has a broad scientific, medical and environmental background, as many of his cases involve issues relating to mass spectrometry, cardiology, pulmonology, nephrology, epidemiology, pharmacology, geology, hydrogeology, and other specialized and technical fields of study.

Adam represents both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide variety of complex litigation cases involving claims relating to breach of contract, fraud, unfair business practices, real estate and construction defect disputes, and various business tort claims.

Professional Liability
Adam has handled numerous lawsuits for attorneys, accountants and insurance brokers accused of professional negligence. 

Product Liability
Adam represents clients who manufacture and distribute consumer and pharmaceutical products in lawsuits in which the plaintiffs contend the products were defective.

Environmental
Adam has handled numerous cases involving soil and groundwater contamination, including claims asserted under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA) and the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA).
