Alan Westbrook has 30 years of experience handling civil litigation and administrative law matters. He has litigated cases in arbitration, short trials, bench trials, and jury trials in cases involving damages from soft tissue and fractures to brain injury and wrongful death. Alan has tried cases in state and federal courts in Nevada. In addition to trial work, he has defended clients and their professional licenses in Administrative Hearings and has argued cases before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Nevada Supreme Court.

Alan’s philosophy on managing cases comes from years of partnering with clients and carriers in developing a plan of action to resolve cases in the most effective and economic means by aggressively gathering information early and having a frank and open communication with the client to reach a decision on resolution by early negotiation or mediation, or whether the matter should proceed to arbitration or trial.

After a short career in retail and financial institution management, Alan attended law school and moved to Las Vegas to intern his last semester with a civil defense firm. He remained with that firm from law clerk to managing partner and chief trial counsel over the course of 28 years.
