Alex Blue is a trial lawyer and business and real estate adviser who represents investors, property owners, small businesses and Fortune 100 companies. Alex applies his more than two decades of experience to help clients manage risk and avoid costly litigation where possible. When necessary, he proactively designs and implements aggressive, cost-effective case management and resolution strategies. As a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Alex considers it a privilege to counsel and represent veterans and veteran-owned businesses.
Maintaining a diverse transactional and litigation practice, Alex represents clients in all aspects of commercial, transportation, professional liability and real estate matters. He is experienced in handling matters involving breach of contract and fiduciary duty claims, business torts, professional negligence claims, trade secret and non-compete matters, analysis and drafting of contracts and leases, real estate and construction contract analysis and negotiation, and defense of lawsuits involving serious personal injury, death and catastrophic property damage.
In addition, Alex is well versed in the emerging blockchain, cryptocurrency, crypto-asset, crypto-commodity and cyber-liability legal trends and issues companies and insurance carriers are increasingly facing. He regularly writes and presents on these topics and is active in the North Texas blockchain, crypto and data privacy community.

Transportation
As a member of the firm’s Transportation Practice, Alex handles a variety of transportation matters. While serving as national counsel for major transportation and logistics companies, Alex spearheads pre-suit investigations, mediations, settlement conferences and trials throughout the United States, working alongside local counsel. As a member of the firm’s 24/7 National Emergency Response Team, he regularly handles catastrophic transportation matters and provides client assistance in immediately mobilizing experts and/or investigators to the accident scene to preserve evidence and strengthen future litigation defenses.
Real Estate
Alex counsels investors and property owners regarding a wide variety of real estate transactional and litigation matters, and negotiates leases and property purchase and management agreements. He also counsels clients regarding their legal and business options as issues arise during the operations of their property. He defends residential and commercial property owners in a multitude of premises liability matters, including but not limited to negligent security matters, slip and/or trip and falls, assaults, and wrongful death suits. Alex is aggressive when developing defense strategies in order to obtain favorable results for his clients. Alex also regularly writes, speaks and counsels clients about the future of real estate including how the revolutionary technology known as “Blockchain” is disrupting the real estate industry.
