Following a distinguished career in law enforcement, Alexandra Bucci defends clients confronting substantial liability claims, often involving deadly force or other fatality incidents. Drawing on her experience as a decorated member of the Harrison, New York, Police Department, Alexandra conducts thorough investigations, mounts vigorous defenses and otherwise responds skillfully to events where significant reputational and financial exposures are at stake. As an active member of Wilson Elser’s Crisis Response & Management Team, she is strategically situated – often on-site – within the crucial first hours following the occurrence or notification of an event and begins developing proactive strategies that can mitigate legal severity. She remains fully engaged throughout the investigation and ensuing litigation.

Alexandra routinely collaborates with fellow Crisis Response & Management team members, attorneys from other practice areas and office locations, and as best serves her clients’ objectives, any combination of accident reconstructionists, independent adjusters, investigators, forensic experts, diagnostic engineers, criminal defense counsel, public relations experts and other specialists.

During Alexandra’s tenure with the Harrison Police Department, she worked on assignments with state and federal agencies, assisted the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency with local drug investigations, and, administratively, rose to head the Department’s Executive Operations. She previously served as a school resource officer and youth officer for the Harrison Central School District and as an undercover narcotics officer with the Westchester County District Attorney’s Narcotic Initiative, the Greenburgh Police Drug Task Force and the New York State Police.
