Amrita Pannu

Amrita Pannu focuses her practice on the defense of claims related to product liability and medical malpractice. She is skilled at handling all aspects of trial preparation, including conducting depositions, composing discovery and filing motions.

Prior to joining Wilson Elser, Amrita worked for a national defense firm where she represented businesses in product liability and toxic tort matters. She holds an M.B.A. degree in addition to her law degree, giving her a deeper understanding of her clients’ businesses in terms of both operations and finances, and providing her with an added appreciation of the non-legal logistics involved in running a business.

During law school, Amrita participated in the Hastings Consortium on Law, Science & Health Policy, fueling her interest in life sciences. Before embarking on her legal career, she worked in pharmacology research centered on heart disease.
