Andrew Albright maintains a diverse civil litigation and trial practice. He has tried catastrophic injury, wrongful death, contract and professional liability matters to verdict. On multiple occasions, Andrew has been asked to try cases with seven- and eight-figure verdict exposure on the eve of trial.
Leveraging his trial experience to quickly identify case themes, strengths and weaknesses, Andrew recognizes the importance of early and accurate case assessment and negotiated resolution of challenging cases where appropriate. He has handled litigation in state and federal courts throughout the country and most frequently practices in Indiana and Illinois.
Andrew’s clients have included product manufacturers, transportation companies, public utilities, physicians, attorneys, architects and engineering firms.
Areas of Focus
Professional Malpractice
Andrew has successfully tried several medical negligence cases to defense verdicts and has represented surgeons, anesthesia providers, emergency medicine physicians and obstetricians in defense of medical malpractice and licensing matters in Indiana and Illinois. Andrew also has defended attorneys, architects and engineers in professional malpractice and contract cases through trial and appeal.
General Liability
Andrew handled a high volume of property damage, construction, catastrophic injury, wrongful death and work injury litigation for multiple manufacturing clients, securing summary judgment, indemnity agreements and favorable settlements on several occasions. Andrew defended a utility company in injury and property damage matters. He has represented railroads, trucking and transportation companies in accident and work injury matters.
Product Liability
Andrew has defended multiple automobile, electronics, construction equipment and recreational equipment manufacturers in all stages of product liability and subrogation litigation. His product liability work has included substantial counseling and defense of foreign manufacturers.
