Andrew-John R. Bokeno

Edward M. O'Brien (Partner-Louisville) and Andrew-John Bokeno (Associate-Louisville) were enlisted by Kentucky Defense Counsel, Inc., the state's largest association of civil defense attorneys, to author an amicus brief to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit on its behalf supporting a property insurer's position that its insurance policy does not cover an insured restaurant's COVID-19 business interruption losses. The Sixth Circuit affirmed a Kentucky district court's finding of no coverage, adopting many of the arguments and case authority Eddie and AJ cover in their amicus brief.
