Ashley L. Zurkan

Las Vegas partners Michael Lowry and Michael E. Stoberski, joined by Kimberly A. Nelson (Associate-Las Vegas) and Ashley L. Zurkan (Associate-Las Vegas), will lead the law student workshop “Building a Litigation Career Without Perfect Grades” at the William S. Boyd School of Law, University of Nevada, Las Vegas, on March 31, 2026. The workshop features a candid and practical conversation about how early litigation exposure, strong writing skills, responsiveness, and sound judgment often carry greater weight than class rank in real-world practice – particularly in civil defense work. Drawing from their experiences, the presenters will share strategies for standing out, building credibility, and becoming a trusted advocate, regardless of where one falls on the grading curve.
